Our Favorite Caraway Products
So, how do you spend $395 on Caraway? Below are a few of our favorite picks.
MADI KOETTING FOR TASTE OF HOME
What is ceramic cookware, anyway? It’s metal cookware finished in a ceramic coating that’s free of harmful chemicals and heavy metals. Plus, the mineral coating on the ceramic pans is naturally slick, so your food won’t stick—making it a dream for cooking things like fried eggs. Our editors have tested many pieces of Caraway ceramic cookware, including the fry pan, Dutch oven and saute pan. We recommend ordering a bundle, which is cheaper than buying each piece individually.
KATIE BANDURSKI FOR TASTE OF HOME
Caraway introduced ceramic-coated bakeware in the fall of 2021. The 11-piece bakeware set includes ceramic-coated baking essentials like sheet pans, a muffin tin, cake pans and more. Just like its ceramic cookware, Caraway’s bakeware products are also free of potentially toxic materials. Our tester—a former bakery owner—was blown away by the nonstick performance, even when mixing up sticky buns!
EMILY WAY FOR TASTE OF HOME
The tool lineup and cutting board collection from Caraway are also nontoxic, so they’re a safer option than many plastic tools. Plus, the prep set looks lovely on a counter or kitchen island with its modern, clean lines and muted tones. Boasting FSC-certified birch wood, German stainless steel blades and BPA-free handles, the prep set offers a bounty of nontoxic tools that handle most meals.
Where to Order
To snag the Caraway and ButcherBox promo for dad—or yourself—head over to the Caraway website. You’ll need to add at least $395 worth of product to your cart to receive the offer, and it’s valid through June 18 or while supplies last. There’s also a limit of one free gift per customer.
How We Tested Caraway
TASTE OF HOME
We’ve tested many Caraway products at Taste of Home—from frying pans to bakeware—and we’ve been impressed every time. Not only are they stunning in person, but they perform when you need them to.
In our Caraway cookware review, we were shocked to see how nonstick these pans actually are. Fried eggs slid around the pan, even without oil, and meat browned beautifully. However, we did notice that the center of the pan got hotter than the edges. The pans also require precise care. Avoid high heat and metal utensils.
Former bakery owner and professional chef Allison Robicelli tested Caraway’s bakeware set in her home kitchen. “I never need to use parchment paper to prevent food from sticking,” she says, “and it takes little more than a light sponging to get everything clean.”
We also tested the Caraway prep set, which includes a paring knife, bread knife, prep knife and chef’s knife. It also comes with wooden tools, including tongs, a pasta server, a spoon, a bowl scraper, and a spatula for flipping pancakes and patty melts. The wooden tools are lightweight and won’t scratch ceramic pans like metal tools would.
How We Tested ButcherBox
ALLISON ROBICELLI FOR TASTE OF HOME
On a quest to track down the best meat delivery services, Allison also tested ButcherBox. Her order included two filet mignons, four boneless pork chops, a flank steak, a whole chicken and a bag of individually frozen salmon filets. “The meat and seafood are spectacular,” she says.
Having tried ButcherBox for myself, I second the quality of ButcherBox meat—even the brand’s chicken nuggets are seriously impressive. I appreciate not having to worry about how the meats I’m feeding my family are sourced and processed when I’m cooking with ButcherBox.
