An easy stuffing plus cream of mushroom soup keep this pork chops with stuffing recipe moist and delicious. It's sure to become part of your regular dinner rotation.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons canola oil
- 4 boneless pork loin chops (6 ounces each and 1 inch thick)
- 3 cups day-old French bread cubes (1/2 inch)
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons chopped celery
- 2 tablespoons chopped onion
- 1/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- 1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
- 1/3 cup water
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat and brown pork chops on both sides. Place in an ungreased 13x9-in. baking pan. In a large bowl, toss bread cubes, butter, broth, celery, onion and poultry seasoning. Spoon about 1/2 cup stuffing on each pork chop.
- Combine soup and water; pour over chops. Cover and bake for 20 minutes. Uncover; bake 10-15 minutes or until a thermometer inserted into the pork reads 145°. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
