Beet Juice

You can make fresh beet juice without an expensive juicer. All you need are beets, a blender and some cheesecloth!

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds fresh beets, peeled and chopped
  • 4 cups water or apple juice
  • Lemon or orange wedge, optional

Directions

  1. Place beets and water in a blender; pulse until smooth. Strain through a cheesecloth-lined colander; discard pulp. If desired, garnish with a citrus wedge of your choice.
