Ingredients
- 1-1/2 pounds bulk pork sausage

In a greased shallow 3-qt. baking dish, cover the bottom with torn pieces of bread and then layer the sausage over top. Place shredded cheese over sausage and then add bacon. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, milk and mustard together and pour the mixture in the baking dish. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Sausage provides plenty of flavor in this hearty egg strata. It's a great addition to a brunch buffet, because it's assembled the night before to cut down on last-minute fuss. —Teresa Marchese, New Berlin, Wisconsin
