Whip up this copycat Starbucks pumpkin spice Frappuccino when you don't want to wait in line but the urge for a pumpkin spice latte is strong.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1/8 cup canned pumpkin
- 1/2 tablespoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 1/4 cup brewed coffee
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup vanilla ice cream
- 1/4 cup crushed ice cubes
- 1/4 cup whipped cream, optional
Directions
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, add milk, pumpkin, sugar and pie spice; stir until sugar is dissolved and bubbles appear along the edges of pan, 3-4 minutes. Pour mixture into a container; add coffee and vanilla. Cover; refrigerate at least 2 hours.
- Pour pumpkin mixture into a blender with ice cream and ice. Cover; blend until smooth. Transfer to a glass. Top with whipped cream and additional pumpkin spice, if desired.
