Cornbread Croutons

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, optional
  • 4 cups cubed cornbread

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together oil, salt and, if desired, garlic powder. Add cubed corn bread and toss to coat.
  2. Place in a single layer on an ungreased 15x10x1-in. baking sheet. Bake at 400° for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown, stirring occasionally. Let cool; store in an airtight container.
