
French Onion Dip

This homemade French onion dip recipe will blow any store-bought jar out of the water!
Ingredients
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 teaspoons balsamic vinegar
- 2 cups (16 ounces) sour cream
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Directions
- In a large skillet, saute onions in oil until softened. Stir in sugar. Reduce heat to medium-low; cook for 30-40 minutes or until deep golden brown, stirring occasionally. Stir in garlic and vinegar. Cook and stir 2 minutes longer.
- In a small bowl, combine the remaining ingredients. Stir in onion mixture. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour.
