Grilled Okra

Ingredients

  • 1 pound okra pods
  • 1/2 medium lemon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 8 wooden skewers

Directions

  1. Preheat grill to high heat.
  2. Thread 4-5 okra pods onto each wooden skewer. Place skewers on the grill and cook until lightly charred, about 3 minutes per side. Remove grilled okra from skewers and place on a platter. Garnish with lemon juice and salt; serve hot.
