Ingredients
- 2/3 cup Miracle Whip or mayonnaise
- 2/3 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1-1/2 teaspoons grated lemon zest
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon dried tarragon
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 4 cups diced cooked chicken
- 1 cup thinly sliced celery
- 1 cup chopped green pepper
- 2 large red apples, cut into 1/2-inch pieces, optional
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup minced fresh parsley
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
Directions
- In a large bowl, combine the first 7 ingredients. Stir in chicken, celery, green pepper, apples if desired, onion and parsley. Cover and refrigerate for several hours. Stir in walnuts just before serving.
