Over-Easy Eggs

Total Time Prep/Total Time: 10 min.
Yield 4 eggs
With fully set egg whites and creamy, runny egg yolks, over-easy eggs are, in my opinion, the best way to cook an egg. Here’s how we do it over at Taste of Home.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper

Directions

  1. Heat butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Crack eggs into the skillet; season with salt and pepper. Cook 2-3 minutes or until whites are set. Flip; cook 30-60 seconds or until whites are fully set and yolks are still runny. Serve hot.
